Why We’re Seasonal

A Vintage Door Thrift Shop is intentionally a seasonal shop, opening each spring in April and closing for the winter in December.

That slower rhythm is part of who we are.

The winter months give us time to step back, reflect, gather new treasures, and return each spring with fresh eyes and renewed care. Being seasonal gives us the freedom to source thoughtfully and keep A Vintage Door rooted in what we’ve always loved most about thrifting: the joy of discovery.

We’re also open exclusively on Saturdays, and that choice is intentional, too.

Like many of the people who walk through our door, we have full lives beyond the shop. Opening on Saturdays allows us to be truly present when we’re here. Not rushed. Not simply keeping a door unlocked. But ready to visit, listen, help you hunt for that perfect something, and enjoy the experience right along with you.

When A Vintage Door is open, we want to be truly open.

There’s something special about setting aside a Saturday to wander through a thrift shop with no particular hurry. You never quite know what you’ll find. Something useful. Something beautiful. Something that reminds you of home, your childhood, or someone you love.

Maybe something you didn’t even know you were looking for until you saw it.

That’s the kind of place we want A Vintage Door to be.

Open Saturdays. April through December ~ 11am to 2pm
